Arizona man allegedly went berserk after neighbors declined his offer of cocaine: ‘Offensive to his culture’

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (TCN) -- A 49-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly firing multiple rounds at an apartment complex when he got angry that his neighbors would not do cocaine with him.

According to court documents obtained by KSAZ, on Oct. 15 at about 10:45 a.m., police were dispatched to an apartment building after receiving a report of an active assault. Investigators learned that Samuel Sedgwick allegedly entered an apartment uninvited and offered the residents cocaine. He was reportedly in a visibly altered state, and when the residents declined his offer, Sedwick allegedly said that refusing was “offensive to his culture.” He then allegedly removed his shirt and began to beat one of the residents.
