AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (TCN) -- A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly showing up drunk to pick up a friend who was arrested for driving while intoxicated. On May 16, Antone Glionna arrived at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to pick up a friend who had been taken there following a DWI arrest, WNYT reports. When Glionna pulled in, he reportedly did not park his car in the public lot but instead drove it into a restricted area. This led authorities to believe that he may also have been intoxicated.Glionna was given a field sobriety test. An investigation found that Glionna’s driver’s license had been revoked in the past for a DWI and refusal to take a chemical test, and he was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving while intoxicated.  According to WNYT, his next court date has not yet been set.MORE: Man with .419 BAC gives up on field sobriety test, tells police he’s ‘going to jail anyways’ — True Crime NewsMinnesota man facing his 28th DWI charge — True Crime News
